Cookie policy
This page explains how salesgram.app uses cookies. In short: nothing is activated without your consent, and you can change your mind at any time.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Some are needed for the site to work, others measure, in aggregate, how it is used.
Which cookies we use
- Measurement (Google Analytics 4): counts visits in aggregate, with IP anonymisation and Consent Mode v2.
- Measurement (PostHog): same purpose, and it links your visit to the site with your use of the product if you later sign up. It is the same PostHog project the app uses.
- Session recording (Microsoft Clarity): records how the site is used, meaning clicks, scrolling and the path between pages, to see where people get stuck. The demo request form is masked at the source: what you type into the fields never enters the recording.
- Advertising (LinkedIn Insight Tag): measures conversions from our LinkedIn campaigns. This one depends on a separate consent: accepting measurement does not turn advertising on.
How to manage consent
On your first visit you choose measurement and advertising separately: they are two distinct checkboxes, both unticked, and you can accept only one. Your choice is remembered; to change it, clear the site data in your browser and reload the page. If you refuse, Google Analytics, Clarity and LinkedIn are never loaded at all, not merely disabled.
Anonymous counting, without cookies
If you don't accept measurement, or don't choose, we still count the visit anonymously with PostHog in cookieless mode: nothing is stored on your device, no profile is created and the visit is not linked to other visits on later days.
To tell visits on the same day apart, PostHog's servers compute an anonymous fingerprint that changes every day; the IP address is used only for that calculation and then discarded, it is not stored with the visit. This is aggregate statistical measurement of the same kind as technical cookies, which is why it doesn't require consent.
